Beaux Arts Village was established in 1908 and was later incorporated as a city in 1954. This tiny town lies on the Eastern shore of Lake Washington and is near the East Channel Bridge on I-90. about 300 residents of Beaux Arts Village enjoy their humble area while raving about its close propinquity to the Eastside and their short commute to downtown Seattle. It’s one of the smallest areas in Western Washington but stands out as a desirable location for home owners because of the quaint, attractive area weaved through sky-high trees, up and down tiny streets. lots of homes--from modern and contemporary to new and traditional--are either on waterfront property or within walking distance to Lake Washington. Residents enjoy the tiny streets to walk their canines on and the huge trees that provide shade for walking in to downtown Bellevue or to the close-by parks. One of the best kept secrets for those who live within Beaux Arts is the private beach for residents to make use of at any time. It’s called the Western Academy of Beaux Arts and is a 1,100-foot stretch of Lake Washington waterfront nestled within Beaux Arts Village.
